MAGARIGAWA Track Session in Suzuka

Hi there!

It looks like we'll be seeing the end of the rainy season and, hopefully, enjoying the bright blue skies of summer soon.

In this newsletter, we’d like to tell you about our recent “Magarigawa Track Session in Suzuka”, a club members exclusive driving event that we held last month at the Suzuka International Racing Course.

This was the first event we hosted at Suzuka Circuit, which is one of the most well-respected and challenging racetracks in the world. During the event, participants received one-on-one driving training offered by professional instructors. We prepared cars that matched the participant’s car for each instructor to use, which meant some instructors were leading in front, the others following from behind and some of the participants hopped in on the passenger seat to feel the driving of the professionals in live action.

Although we only had an hour on the track, drivers got to enjoy the full 5.8 kilometers of the circuit in the comfort of their own cars and unencumbered by other drivers, a unique privilege gained through The Magarigawa Club membership.

And the learning and fun wasn’t limited to participants’ time in the driver’s seat. We held both a briefing and a debriefing session during which everyone received useful driving advice and helpful tips that they can use when navigating the track at Suzuka or our private driving course.

After the event, we provided each participant with photos, dash cam footage, lap time data and data logger information that they can use to compare their performance with that of the instructor.

Continuing the tradition we started at our last driving event at Fuji Speedway, we provided guests with “circuit taxi” services. Participants’ guests were able to experience the thrilling speed and performance of the new Porsche Taycan as well as the new Ghost from Rolls Royce.

On the same day and at the same location Cornes Motors hosted its “CORNES DAY 2021" event, so participants from both events were able to check out the miniature version of The Magarigawa Club that we had on display and also take a spin in our driving simulators.

We are planning to hold more events in the near future.

So keep an eye out for an announcement from us.
