Recent Press Coverage

Hi there again.

It finally feels like autumn is here to stay as dusk greets us earlier each day.

In this month’s newsletter, we’d like to let you know about some recent media coverage we received.

We had someone special introduce our club to the readers of the Japanese edition of Octane, the British magazine for classic car enthusiasts. That special someone was Shiro Nakamura, Ex Nissan Chief Design Officer and judge at various prestigious car events including Monterey Car Week and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

He visited the site where we are building The Magarigawa Club in September, and commented appreciation to both the convenience of the location and the immense scale of our ambitious project.

In the article (access here: https://octane.jp/articles/detail/7937 Japanese only), he explains in his own words what differentiates our track from the rest—how Magarigawa offers its members not a “circuit”, a word associated with competitive racing, but rather a “road course”, emphasizing its intended purpose as a place for enjoying a unique driving experience. He also mentions the many other ways members and their guests will be able to enjoy their time at the club. It’s a great article and worth sharing with those who have yet to hear or may have already heard about our club.

We also received some coverage on World Business Satellite, a popular news program aired on channels affiliated with TV Tokyo all across Japan.

As we make progress through the construction phase of the project, we will continue to provide you with more information and images that will hopefully help you better imagine what the facilities of The Magarigawa Club will look like once we finally open our doors.

In the near future, we hope to share with you news about other events and activities that we will be hosting as a club in order to fulfill our mission of supporting and contributing to global car culture.
